Farmers' Markets

Where the person behind the stall grew it. London's farmers' markets, most of them one morning a week: raw milk and day-boat fish, biodynamic vegetables and rare-breed meat, and two midweek markets that are really about lunch.

Walthamstow Farmers' Market

The top of the high street on a Sunday, with unpasteurised milk and vegan cakes on the same row.

SundayRaw milkOrganic & biodynamic

Unpasteurised milk and cream from Hook and Son, biodynamic eggs, juice and vegetables from Brambletye, organic meat and poultry from Picks - who also do the breakfast rolls - vegetables from Ted's Veg and Wild Country Organics, local honey, artisan bread, vegan cakes and a range of cheeses.

It fills the town square at the top of the high street, which on a Sunday is the busiest thing there. Not to be confused with Walthamstow's daily street market further down.
