Sit-down restaurant
Golden Union opened in 2008 and dressed itself as something much older - tiles, a counter, an ice-cream sundae menu. The potatoes come from East Anglia and are fried once rather than blanched and refried, which gives a softer chip than the modern orthodoxy. Beer-battered fish, sustainably sourced.
