The widest view in London, opened at night, in twenty-minute slots for ten people at a time.
Guided tourHeights & views
The roof platform stands a hundred and thirty-two metres above sea level and is normally a daytime thing; a few times a year the castle opens it after dark, when the lights of the city come up below and the estuary goes black. Groups of up to ten go up for twenty minutes, and the slot you book is the slot you get. The roof is open to the weather and the stairs are a spiral, with no lift. The tea room is open afterwards. 18:00 to 21:00. £7.50 including the booking fee.
