Eltham Library's monthly open mic, moved for one night into the castle's first-floor room.
Books & writersFree
Greenwich Libraries take over the Lady James Room for their regular open mic evening: put your name in the hat when you arrive and read your own work, or come only to listen. The tea room stays open for tea, coffee, cold snacks and wine. The room is up a spiral staircase and there is no lift. Doors and sign-up from 18:00, performances from 18:30. Free, but booking is essential and places are few.
