The Museum's own take on 1776, for the 250th anniversary.
HistoryFree
At British Museum.
A free exhibition marking two hundred and fifty years since the Declaration of Independence, told through the Museum's collection: prints, maps, coins, medals and objects from both sides of the Atlantic. Runs alongside the British Library's Treasures Gallery display and the Science Museum's Becoming America, so the anniversary can be done as a Bloomsbury-to-Kensington day.
