Free exhibition of the Second World War capital as the war artists saw it: Henry Carr's St Clement Danes on fire, John Piper, Edward Ardizzone, Evelyn Dunbar, Muirhead Bone and others, largely from the War Artists' Advisory Committee that Kenneth Clark set up in 1939 partly to keep a generation of painters out of combat.
