A free, interactive exhibition on how children have lived through conflict from 1914 to now: a recreated evacuee carriage, a 1950s living room with Duck and Cover on the television, a child's bedroom with real books to pull out, a games room, refugee drawings from Kosovo, a soldier's Combat Ted, and the letter nine-year-old Alfie Knight wrote to Lord Kitchener offering to be a despatch rider on his bicycle.
