Paul Sarrut was a French liaison officer in the First World War who drew the men around him, and the Indian troops most of all: over fifty drawings and works on paper, most not shown in public for a hundred years, alongside uniforms, photographs, archive and the Victoria Crosses of Lieutenant Frank de Pass and Sepoy Khudadad Khan.
