Ideal for a sunny day. And for a cold rainy day: "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing".
A cemetery built as a garden, with a domed chapel and colonnades at the end of it.
CemeteriesFree
The only cemetery run by the Royal Parks, and the most architectural of the seven: a formal avenue running the length of the grounds to a domed chapel modelled on St Peter's, with curved colonnades reaching out on either side and catacombs underneath. Emmeline Pankhurst is buried here. It doubles as a local park — people cut through it, sit in it and run in it — and the grass is deliberately left long in summer for the butterflies.
