Cora Pearl was an Englishwoman who made a career as a courtesan in Second Empire Paris, and the restaurant named for her occupies a Covent Garden townhouse round the corner from St Paul's, the actors' church. The menu is short and British and moves with the season, and the chips have been reworked into something people order on purpose.
