The room is built around a single communal table, and the menu is listed by size instead of by course. Dishes tend to hold three ingredients and no more - a beef tartare against a deep pepper sauce and some very thin crisps - which sounds far simpler than it eats. The wine is small-scale and low-intervention almost throughout.
