The building was the United States embassy, designed by Eero Saarinen, and is now a hotel with the modernism left in place. Masayoshi Takayama has the restaurant inside it: seven seats at the sushi counter for the omakase, and tables for a longer contemporary Japanese menu. The signature is toro under caviar, which sets the price of everything around it.
