A triple magic lantern, three projections at once, doing Victorian ghosts.
ImmersiveHistoryFamily friendly
At Florence Nightingale Museum.
Jeremy and Carolyn Brooker bring an authentic triple lantern and a mix of nineteenth-century glass slides and their own, which lets them dissolve one image into another at speed — the effects the Victorians paid to be frightened by. Half an hour, then an hour in the museum. Shows at 14:00 and 16:00 for families, 18:00 and 20:00 for adults with a bar. £15 adult, £7.50 child, £20 for one adult and one child at the afternoon shows.
