The depot holds what the Covent Garden museum cannot fit: rows of locomotives and carriages, the signalling and the ticket machines, the posters and the models, and the workshops where the vehicles are restored, on a site the size of a station. It opens on themed weekends three or four times a year, with the miniature railway running and the curators about, and the dates go quickly; the museum's site lists them.
