Guided tours worth booking: walks led by people who know the streets, and the bus, river and cycling tours that earn their fare. Each is drawn on the map as the ground it covers, from where it meets.
The City places that were filmed for the Leaky Cauldron, Diagon Alley and Gringotts.
Every Saturday, 11:00Walking
The films used real London for the wizarding world and mostly used the City: a market that became Diagon Alley, a bank hall that became Gringotts, streets and bridges that turn up in half a dozen scenes. The walk finds them across the Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban and Order of the Phoenix, which is a good excuse to be taken round the oldest part of London.
Adult £20, students and seniors £15, children £5. Does not run in January or February.
Runs to a regular schedule — check or book before setting out.
