Alaa Shehada and Sam Beale's play in the main house.
At Bush Theatre.
Every year Alaa Shehada's mother sends olive oil pressed from his grandfather's trees in Jenin to her sister in Amman, and every year he carries it himself, across the one crossing in the Jordan Valley that Palestinians in the West Bank are permitted to use. This year the container leaks the whole way. Shehada, who won a Fringe First for The Horse of Jenin, wrote it with Sam Beale. In the Holloway Theatre, £15 to £45, ages 12 and up.
