Rebet Asker was a small music taverna in a side street by Piraeus harbour, where rebetiko was played through the century it took the form to develop. It has closed; this series of Sunday afternoons, now in its tenth year, is the longest-running thing in London devoted to the music. Toundas, Vamvakaris, Tsitsanis, Papaioannou and Hiotis are among the writers. Doors 13:30, music 14:30, £10.
