Duck & Waffle never shuts, which makes it the only high room in London where you can watch the sun come up over the estuary at five in the morning. The windows run floor to ceiling round the 40th floor: the City towers below, St Paul's and the West End west, the river and Canary Wharf east. The lift is a glass one on the outside of the building.
