The Lookout is at the top of 8 Bishopsgate, glass on three sides, with no bar, no restaurant and no charge - a booked slot and a lift. It stands in the middle of the City's cluster rather than at the edge of it, so the towers are at eye level and you look across at them instead of down: the Cheesegrater a few hundred metres off, the river, Tower Bridge and the Shard filling the south side.
