Roller coasters and fairground rides, an ice rink around the bandstand, a circus, a Bavarian-style beer hall and rows of wooden chalets selling food and gifts. It is loud, it is commercial, and on a cold evening with the lights on it is genuinely good fun. Entry is free but timed and must be booked; rides and the rink are paid separately. Open daily except Christmas Day.
