Fernando Botero's reclining bronze woman, five tons of her, in Exchange Square.
Outdoor sculptureFree
Botero's Venus of 1989 lies on her side on the paving of Exchange Square behind Liverpool Street, vast and untroubled, the Colombian's swollen figures done at a scale that makes the office workers eating lunch around her look like the sculpture. She is the best-loved of the Broadgate collection, and the one that gets a Santa hat at Christmas.
