David Wynne's girl and dolphin leaping over a fountain beside Tower Bridge.
Outdoor sculptureFree
The bronze of 1973 on the north bank at St Katharine's Way catches a girl and a dolphin at the top of a leap, held on the water's jet, with Tower Bridge behind them; Wynne, who swam with dolphins to make it, put its pair, Boy with a Dolphin, on the Chelsea Embankment. The most photographed sculpture on this stretch of the river, and the reason is the position.
