Paolozzi's block of bronze machinery outside Euston station, named for a theatre director.
Outdoor sculptureFree
A tall, dense cast of 1980, like a cube of engine parts and architecture pressed together, named after the German theatre director Erwin Piscator; it stands on the Euston Road frontage where the station's plaza meets the road, one of Paolozzi's largest works and the one most people have walked past without knowing it was art. It was given historic protection in 2016, which is more than can be said for the station behind it.
