Studio Voltaire has occupied a Victorian Methodist chapel off Clapham High Street since 1999 and shows artists the bigger institutions catch up with later - Phyllida Barlow, Nicole Eisenman, Cathy Wilkes, Jesse Darling - in the chapel's single tall room. The 2021 rebuild added a garden, a café and House of Voltaire, the shop of artist-made editions that funds the place.
