The original Fred, on a quiet Holborn street. The pistachio roll — pistachio cream and mixed berry compote — is the one people come for, with a tiramisu version of coffee cake and mascarpone behind it. Ham and cheese croissants, danishes and orange-pistachio brioche too, and focaccia and Italian sandwiches at lunch. Dogs welcome.
