Victoria Road

White stucco villas and blossom, a few minutes from Kensington High Street and completely silent.

Terraces

Victoria Road under the blossom, with a Mini to match.

Laid out in the 1840s and 50s on the Vallotton estate as detached and semi-detached villas rather than terraces, which is why it feels suburban in a way almost nothing else this close to central London does: front gardens, gateposts, stucco painted white, and trees that meet over the road. It has been one of the most expensive addresses in the country for decades and reads as an unusually pretty village street.
