Where to drink beer in London: brewery taprooms, bottle shops you can sit down in, and the pubs where the beer is the reason to go. Filter by kind, or by what's open now.
German beer brewed on the spot and poured unfiltered, in the biggest beer garden in London.
TaproomBrewed on site
A Franconian brewery inside Mercato Metropolitano, brewing to the Reinheitsgebot — water, malt, hops, yeast, and nothing else — and serving it unfiltered and unpasteurised straight from the tanks it was made in. This is beer drunk at an age most of it never reaches. Helles, dunkel, weissbier and a rotating seasonal. The market around it runs to forty-odd food stalls and fifteen thousand square feet of outdoor tables, so it is a place to spend an afternoon rather than a stop.
