Ignition is a social enterprise that trains and pays adults with learning disabilities and neurodivergent adults to brew the beer and to serve it, and has been doing that since 2017. The reason it exists is in a statistic the brewery puts on its own front page: one adult in twenty with a learning disability in this country is in paid work. The taproom pours its own beer alongside lager, cider and a no-alcohol tap, and there is a garden behind it.
