Jeff Preiss: The Secret World

New work from a film-maker who has been crossing between art and cinema in New York since the 1980s, with a conversation afterwards.

At Close-Up Film Centre.

Jeff Preiss shot Bruce Weber's Let's Get Lost, the Chet Baker documentary, and has spent forty years moving between gallery work, commercials and film, which is the reason his name comes up more often among artists than among film-goers. This screening brings together his latest films, including a second collaboration with the artist Josiah McElheny.

Preiss discusses them afterwards with the curator Dan Kidner.
