Gelato & ice cream
The Westfield branch of the gelateria Idilio Badiani opened in Florence in 1932, on the lower level of the centre. Buontalenti is the flavour that carries the firm's name: cream, milk, sugar and egg yolk, after Bernardo Buontalenti of the Medici court, who is credited with the first version of it.
