Crosstown proves its dough like bread, with a sourdough starter and a long slow rise, which leaves the doughnut chewier and less sweet than the American kind before anything goes into it - creme brulee, matcha, raspberry and chocolate. Small-batch ice cream and coffee at the same counter. In the middle of the City between Monument, Bank and Mansion House, so it keeps office hours in the week and shorter ones at the weekend.
