Sit-down restaurant
The Golden Hind has been on Marylebone Lane since 1914 and looks it, in a good way: a plain room, an Art Deco fryer kept for show, and cod in a batter that comes out dry rather than greasy. Fish can be had steamed as well as fried, which few places offer. It is unlicensed in the old sense - you can bring your own wine.
