At Italian Cultural Institute.

Italy's seventies were the anni di piombo, the years of lead, and the kidnapping of the former prime minister Aldo Moro by the Red Brigades in 1978 is the wound at the centre of them. Leonardo Sciascia wrote The Moro Affair within months, as an indictment of the state's refusal to negotiate. Domenico Scarpa and the historian John Foot take it apart, chaired by Cecilia Ghidotti, with readings by Chiara Goldsmith.
