Ham House decorated for Christmas: candlelight and greenery through the Stuart interiors, paper bird sculptures by a local artist, a book tree in the library, a sugar banquet in the kitchen and a wish tree in the Duchess's bathroom. This year's story follows a robin trying to reunite a phoenix with her tail, taken from a newly conserved lacquer screen on show for the first time. Included in admission, no booking; closed 24 and 25 December.
