Seasonal stalls on the lawn at Kenwood, with the Rembrandt and the Vermeer indoors and free.

At Kenwood House.
A day of autumn stalls in the grounds - makers, food, the usual pleasures of a fair on a good lawn in October.
The reason to plan around it rather than stumble on it is what is inside. Kenwood holds the Iveagh Bequest, which includes one of Rembrandt's last self-portraits and a Vermeer, and it costs nothing to walk in and look at them. Very little in London is that good and that unticketed.
