Arlington took the room Le Caprice had held for decades and left it more or less alone - the black-and-white photographs, the nineteen-twenties lines, the banquettes along the back that everyone asks for. The menu is deliberately unfashionable: dressed Dorset crab, chicken Milanese, and a fishcake the place is known for.
