Holy Carrot

A vegan kitchen on Portobello Road that cooks vegetables over coal.

Michelin GuideCheap and cheerfulVegan

Holy Carrot began as a supper club and took a permanent room on Portobello Road. Everything is plant-based and most of it meets fire - a barbecued carrot, leeks roasted in the coals - which is the argument it makes to anyone who still thinks of vegetables as a side. Small and large plates, meant to be shared. The room is concrete and warm colour.
