The ground floor is a pub and behaves like one, with the drinkers out on the pavement and the Guinness going down faster than it can be poured. Eating happens upstairs: the Grill Room on the first floor, where most of the cooking is done, and the quieter Claret Room above that. The food is traditional and arrives in quantity.
