It is such an obvious idea - an old corner pub with Indian sharing plates - that the surprise is how few others have done it. The menu starts in Tamil Nadu and wanders north when it feels like it: a Chettinad lamb curry, channa bhatura. Onion bhajis and a pint is the combination the place was built for.
