A Dutch merchant's house of 1631 that George III and Queen Charlotte used as a family home, and where the King was confined during his illness; Charlotte died here in 1818 in a chair that is still in the room. The rooms upstairs were left unfinished when the family stopped coming and have been kept that way, which is the charm of it. It comes with a ticket to Kew Gardens and opens in the warmer months.
