Guided Tours

Guided tours worth booking: walks led by people who know the streets, and the bus, river and cycling tours that earn their fare. Each is drawn on the map as the ground it covers, from where it meets.

Jack the Ripper Walking Tour

The Whitechapel murders walked every night of the week, by guides who have been arguing about the case for years.

Daily, 19:30Walking

London Walks run three different Ripper walks and this is the one that goes nightly - two hours from Tower Hill through the streets where the murders happened, led by one of half a dozen guides who each tell it differently. The ground has changed almost beyond recognition since 1888, which is part of what the walk is about: what is still there, what was cleared, and how much of the story is evidence and how much is a century of retelling. A Saturday matinee runs at 15:00 as well.
