Guided tours worth booking: walks led by people who know the streets, and the bus, river and cycling tours that earn their fare. Each is drawn on the map as the ground it covers, from where it meets.

Every Tuesday, 10:45Walking
From Boudica through the Peasants' Revolt, the Gordon Riots and Cable Street, London has been in revolt regularly and the state has usually won. The walk goes to where it happened and to where the retribution was carried out, which in this part of London is frequently the same place. The guide gives his fee to charity and says which one at the start.
