Guided tours worth booking: walks led by people who know the streets, and the bus, river and cycling tours that earn their fare. Each is drawn on the map as the ground it covers, from where it meets.
The first museum of art and design anywhere, and still the largest, with somebody to navigate it.
Every Friday, 10:45Walking
The V&A was founded on the profits of the Great Exhibition to show manufacturers what good design looked like, and grew into a collection of decorative art from everywhere and every period. It is very large and very easy to get lost in, which is the case for a guide. Museum entry is free; the walk is not.
Adult £20, students and seniors £15, children £5
