Nadeem Islam wrote it and performs it, and the form is the point: every performance is in BSL with a spoken English voiceover and English captions, so a Deaf audience and a hearing one get the same show at the same time rather than one of them getting a version of it. Visual Vernacular - the visual storytelling Deaf performers built out of mime, sign and cinema - carries the cricket. It follows an amateur batsman from Bangladesh in the 1970s to Brick Lane and on to now, through displacement and racism, one ball at a time. An hour; £12 to £18.
