A church of 1563 that puts on folk and experimental music, with six bells still in the tower.

Built in 1563, and left by the parish in 1858 when George Gilbert Scott’s much larger St Mary’s went up across the road. It was badly damaged in the war and put back in the 1950s, and it works as a concert hall now: folk, experimental and quiet electronic music, sound meditations, and a Saturday morning concert for toddlers with craft afterwards. The six bells are still in the tower and are rung on open days. It is run as a charity.
