Jack Dione, Jay Are, Ariana Mamnoon and Nick Noneman came to the band from separate lives in music, film and writing, and make songs for and about what they call the hazy culture of Southern California. The debut EP towncryer arrived in 2023, gritty and sentimental at once; headbanger followed a year later and went further into the personal.
KCRW and NTS have both played them, they have sold out rooms on both American coasts, and they played Pitchfork London. Two nights here, 19:45, £7 with a booking fee on top, over-18s.
