Jay Miller built the Yard in 2011 in a disused warehouse on White Post Lane, using materials reclaimed from the Olympic site being finished next door, and meant it to last a summer. It is still there, holds about 110, and has become one of the places new theatre-makers most want to be programmed. The bar runs as a club at weekends.
