An unaccompanied musical for babies, travelling from Kumasi to London, with the audience on the floor.
Family friendlyUp to age 1
At Unicorn Theatre.
Cassiopeia Berkeley-Agyepong wrote it, directs it and composed the music, and the Unicorn is making it with Talawa, the Black-led theatre company founded in 1986. Adwoa and her mother go looking for what home means, from the streets of Kumasi to London, and it is told in puppetry, soundscape and a cappella singing. The audience sits on the floor and the babies are expected to crawl about in it. Half an hour, and then play time, in the Clore studio downstairs.
