An hour in the oldest surviving grand music hall in the world, told by the people who saved it.
Guided tourHistory
Wilton's was built behind a row of houses off Cable Street in 1859, closed as a hall in 1880, spent a century as a Methodist mission and a rag warehouse, and came within a demolition order of being lost twice. The tour goes through the hall, the houses in front of it and the parts that were deliberately left unrestored. 17:00.
