The palace sits on the top of the hill at Muswell Hill with a long south-facing terrace in front of it, and central London is laid out below: the City cluster and the Shard in the middle, Canary Wharf to the left, the arch at Wembley away to the right. The terrace and the park around it are free and open at any hour, and there is a bar behind the glass if the wind gets up.
